After the eggs were all colored, Grandma & Traci hid them in Grandpa Flake's hay barn. The kids were all so excited and took off to hunt them. I couldn't even keep up with Brig, he was so fast and already had a basket full when I got to the barn with Kanton, who didn't care about filling his basket, only throwing the eggs against the wall when he picked them up. Demolishing an egg was much more thrilling to Kanton than carrying it around in his basket!
Brig thought the egg dyeing was so much fun we had to do it again at home that night. Besides, that egg smell is wonderful when it lingers in your house for hours...and you can never have too many deviled eggs on Easter right? It's possible.
The boys were so excited to get new sand box toys and of course the bug catchers. Brig thinks I'm crazy for paying an exterminator to keep bugs away from the house because bugs are for catching.
After church it was back to grandma & papa's house for dinner and fun with the cousins!
