Saturday as I was driving into my mom's driveway for Traci's baby shower I almost ran over a turtle in the middle of the road. I have never before seen a turtle just out in the open, it was weird. There was no way in heck I was going to pick that thing up and hold it :) but I knew Brig & Kanton would love it so I drove down to my mom's house, where Brig was and took him back to catch it. By the time we got back it was almost on the highway and would have been road kill. Brig grabbed it and pushed it in the dump truck back to the house and it kept the boys and all of the cousins entertained for a couple of hours. They put it on the trampoline because it couldn't escape with the net surround but the next time they took it off to play with it they got sidetracked and lost it. I had mixed feelings about the little critter because I knew the boys would love having it as a pet but I wasn't so sure I would! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!
