Paint ~ Potty ~ Man Stuff

I have a million other things I need to be doing besides this but this sounds a lot more fun than what I have to do! We have been "kicked" out of our house for most of this week because we had the inside repainted. Brig & Kanton were getting a little homesick for their own house and their own stuff and kept asking when we were going to get to go home. We hung out at my mom's house during the day and stayed in Vern & Jana's little apartment at night. It was handy to have our own little place for a few nights. It was a lot of work to take everything down to get ready to paint but I think putting it all back up is going to be even more work! It is so nice to have everything clean though. :) And let me tell you how excited Ray is to start over with hanging things up again, he can't wait!

When I was out of town last week Ray put Kanton on the phone to tell me he went potty in the toilet. I have tried and tried to get that boy to go on the potty and he waits until I'm out of town to do it! I haven't really been pushing him to do it since then because I knew we would be out of our house for a few days but he keeps telling me he wants to sit on the potty and he has gone twice now. What a big boy!! I better get serious about it before he loses interest. :)

Speaking of a big boy, ahem.....I mean man....Brig informed me the other day that he is growing a mustache and has chest hair. I wasn't really expecting this to happen at age 6! I thought this was so funny and kept referring to his chest hair and mustache so he changed his mind and told me it was just the little fuzzy hair. Good thing, I was getting worried there for a second. :)

Hopefully we can get Kanton truly potty trained before Brig really does get any chest hair, that would be a plus.
