Catfishin'

If you know Brig you know he LOVES.TO.FISH. He daydreams about fishing constantly, organizes and re-organizes his tackle box, takes friends out to the storage room to check out his fishing pole and begs almost every day to go fishing. He has been able to fish quite a bit this summer and has loved it! Well one evening we all went for Family Home Evening and had a great time. It started out pretty slow but we ended up with two huge catfish caught by Brig & Ray. These were the biggest I have ever seen caught in person. Brig was thrilled! Kanton wasn't so sure about it and you can tell by the look on his face.

The great fisherman

Stockton hung out in his seat. He loves to be outside!

Kanton was pretty hard to keep quiet. Probably why the fish catching started out very slow. :)

Oh man! It's a big one!

Don't give up!

Dad had to go into the water over his knees to grab the fish.

So proud!

Woohoo, look at those!

And to top it all off they cooked the catfish and ate 'em all up!

True story.

Wow those are some big fish! I remember Ray taking me fishing when I was little and making me a homemade pole out of a stick and string. I even caught a fish with it. Looks like fun! (minus eating the fish - no can do)
