He got a new fishing reel and other fishing gear, which he totally loves! He got some new boots and shirts and some toys too. Brig pretty much eats, drinks and sleeps fishing. It is his favorite thing to do. So for his birthday Ray took him and Bryson and Kellen fishing for catfish. He was thrilled! They went out after school and got home after dark. Brig caught the only fish on the trip but they had lots of fun!
Since we have baptisms as a Stake now Brig wasn't baptized on his birthday but luckily he was able to be baptized the next day. Brig was excited to be baptized and it was a special day. It was such a neat thing to see him be baptized and to see Ray baptize him. I can't believe my little boy is 8 now and baptized. He is growing up so fast!
After the baptism we had a birthday dinner for Brig. He wanted a fishing cake and that's what he got. He helped decorate it and everything! We had lots of family with us on Brig's special day and that was wonderful.
You are such a good boy Brig. We love you so much and are so proud of you! We hope you had a Happy Birthday big boy!!
