Mills Family Weekend

My parents planned a fun summer getaway for the whole Mills family in Scottsdale. We all stayed in the same hotel, on the same floor and I'm sure that place has never seen anything like us before or since! Our floor was booming....with voices, laughter, screaming, running, jumping, playing and anything that involves noise. But oh was it fun!!! We got lots of looks from people that I'm sure couldn't believe we had that many kids in the family!

We took over the entire pool and anyone that braved getting in with us didn't last long. The kids had a blast and couldn't get enough swimming in while we were there.

Tara, Brooke (holding Denton) & Jacque (holding Mariah)

Kanton - deep in thought, I'm sure

Bryson & Brig

When we weren't in the pool the kids were running between rooms and up and down the halls having a great time. Every time Stockton would see our room door open he would take off running down the hall screaming at the top of his lungs. That little tyke is a fast one too! He finally got confined to the pack and play for awhile because I just couldn't take chasing him anymore. Jack got thrown in the pokey with him. I'm not sure if he deserved it as much as Stockton did but he dealt with it!

I'm pretty sure Mariah and Hinkley really didn't deserve to be in jail but they got there somehow too!

Cute, tired little boys

Stockton, Hinkley, Jack
They must have been paroled for good behavior....or for screaming

Brig, Kanton & Stockton with Papa & Grandma....the ones who started this BIG, LOUD crew
We had lots of fun swimming, eating, going to a movie, more swimming & eating, playing with cousins and terrorizing the hotel!! Kanton even had the pleasure of an elevator ride all by himself. He got on before anyone else and it took off with him screaming...in his pajamas....with his horsey blanket in hand and sporting a sweet hairdo. Lovely. I'm told he got off the elevator and ran into the lobby/dining room where the hotel guests were enjoying their breakfast....still screaming. Once again, LOVELY. Luckily, Traci & Marcus were there eating breakfast and he ran to them. I'm glad they got to claim the little screaming orphan that was getting lots of dirty looks, I'm sure!

It was Father's Day weekend and also my dad's birthday and it was so much fun to get to spend it with him and the rest of the family. We hurried home Sunday morning to be home with Ray for Father's Day who had to stay home and work. Bummer!

Can't wait to do it again!!

I love that picture of mom and dad with your boys! Too cute! I am so glad you guys decided to come. That was a fun one with our rowdy bunch! That poor hotel. Our neighbors were not too happy to be spending the evening with 15 wild children! Can't say I blame them!
