Well Brig is now completely front toothless. He lost the first top front tooth on Saturday the 19th and lost the other on Thursday the 24th. It was quite the dramatic experience for him to have the first one pulled. Dad put a string around it to pull it and Brig was sure it was going to hurt like crazy! It was barely hanging on and Brig was ready to just leave it there. Finally Ray just yanked the string and Brig didn't even know it had come out. He was still worrying about how bad it was going to hurt when Ray put the tooth in front of him to show him it was already done. It was pretty funny. He was tougher with the second one since he knew it wouldn't really hurt and was thrilled to have the tooth fairy come two times in one week. He left the poor tooth fairy broke. Now it will be funny to see the big teeth that replace his cute little baby teeth. You know, those awkward big ol buckys that we all have in our elementary school pictures?? Gotta love em!
Brig isn't the only one with tooth drama going on. Kanton and Brig were playing on the asphalt at grandma and grandpa's house and Kanton got knocked down (surely by accident) and chipped his sweet little front tooth. He has a little snaggletooth now and at first I was really sad because I love his cute little teeth but it is actually kind of cute on him. Then last weekend while we were trying to have a good time at the Cowpuncher's Rodeo in Williams, Kanton's 2nd year molars decided to come in and it made him sick and beyond crabby! They are finally in and hopefully we won't have any more tooth issues for awhile!
Now........on to Ray. As we were getting ready to leave for the rodeo on Friday morning Ray was hooking on to the living quarters trailer and there was a hornet's nest underneath that he didn't see. He got stung six times in his left forearm. He didn't tell me that he thought he might be allergic to them but by the time we got to Williams his arm was so swollen it looked like it didn't belong on his body. It was so puffy and felt like there was tons of air inside. He felt pretty sick but was a good sport and went to the rodeo anyway. We kept him drugged up on benadryl and ibuprofen hoping that would help and at least take some of the swelling down but it didn't. It seemed to keep getting worse so we ended up coming home early on Sunday. By Monday morning the swelling had started to go down and he felt a little better. I tried and tried to talk him in to going to the doctor and he wouldn't do it. He was trying to be the big tough guy. I'm just glad it finally went away before his arm finally popped!
So much drama going on around here I just don't know what to do with myself. :) Hopefully that is it for awhile!

Hal let's not knock on big buckys k because some of us aren't fortunate enough to lose them even after elemenary school! I want to see Kanton's snaggle tooth, and tell Briggy nice shot on toof number 2! Better luck next year on your trip to Williams...
Man, nothing but teeth going on at your house! Brig looks cute and I too want to see little Kanton's snaggle tooth. Don't you just love it when guys try to be all big and tough. Happy to hear that Ray's arm didn't pop off:)
I want a pic of Brig, Jacob and Quinten with their theeth missing. It is so cute that they all lost them at the same time! I look forward to those HUGE teeth too. Looking back at my pics, it's embarrassing, but I love it on my own kids! It's so cute.
