Pleasantly Plump

Yep that's me, I'm pleasantly plump. I was told that by a nice fellow yesterday, that's always fun. While I completely agree and know full well I'm plump I'm not so sure I agree with the pleasantly part.

There are a lot of things that aren't so pleasant at this point, sleeping being the main thing. I have graduated to the recliner for sleep as I do the last 2 months of every pregnancy. It is too hard to sleep in the bed anymore. My hips ache like crazy so I flip over from side to side all night, my arms fall asleep and that wakes me up and my heartburn is out of control when I lay flat! {I'm not trying to get any sympathy here...mostly just writing it all down so I remember}.
Bending over is another one of those things that is not so pleasant. Oh and trying to find something to wear that is comfortable and still looks half way decent is far from pleasant and next to impossible. The list could go on and on!

But even through all of that I can't believe I am almost 31 weeks. The time is passing so fast and this baby will be here in no time {even though it doesn't feel like it in the night while I'm trying to sleep}. I still have so many things I want to get done before he gets here but I'm not making much progress. I feel like I'm spinning my wheels most of the time and don't get anything accomplished. Plus the two biggest holidays of the year are going to happen before he gets here and that adds a lot more to the list of things to do! If only I could snap my fingers and have everything on the list done in a second. Or maybe I should just quit worrying about everything and stop adding new things to the list. Now there's an idea.....Won't happen though. :)

I am really excited to add another sweet little boy to our family and can't believe the time is coming so soon. All the hard things we go through being pregnant are so worth it in the end when that cute little baby is finally here....even the pleasantly plump part.

Oh and by the way, thanks to the kind sir who pointed out my plumpness....I needed that.

You are so cute! I haven't seen you in so long, but I'm sure that you look great! I am having the hardest time getting out of bed in the morning. I feel like I'm 90. Maybe I should try the recliner thing. The 2 lovely holidays should be nice for my hips and thighs too, but at least it will be worth it in the end right! I do hope that it comes before the end of the year though, don't you agree?

Hang in there Hallie. Like I told you tonight, you look so cute pregnant! And I don't know what you're worrying about, your clothes always look so good. (my first pregnancy, I wore stretch pants with Ben's big baggy shirts. We had no money to buy Maternity. You're still stylish at least.) I don't even think I've seen you wear the same thing twice, come to think of it. Anyway, 2 more months will fly by and you'll have that sweet little cutie pie for me, I mean you, to kiss on. Good luck with the sleeping.

Pleasantly plump? What a jackass! Don't men know that pregnant women only want to hear about how beautiful they are? DUH! I did have a girl tell me I was as big as a house when I was six months prego with Payte, so you're not the only to get to hear those WONDERFUL comments! It's not true though; you're one of the cutest pregnant people I know! Don't sweat it!! :)

You dont at all look plump...although Im sure you feel that way. You look so cute pregnant!! And I agree with the second commenter, you always look stylish and I too dont think I have seen you wear the same thing twice. Where do you shop? Please share. If you ever need a break or want to get something done just call me and I will come get Canton. Jarrin would love it.

I can't believe you have only 2 months to go. I always thought you looked so cute pregnant. I can't believe you have to sleep in your chair-what a bummer. You can drop Kanton off anytime you want so you can get things done. I honestly hardly notice when there are more children in my house-I can see why people say once you have 3 you can have more and won't notice. Seriously just bring him over anytime to play while you do your thing=)

Oh I would have socked him good. Nates Step dad told me at 38 weeks I didn't look like I had missed a meal in a while. I still haven't forgiven him. JERK!!! I haven't ever seen you prego but I am sure you are ONE HOT MAMA!! Your due right around Maddie 1/6 and Brodys 1/4 BDay. So Fun!!

I am with Evvie on that one -jackass! Some people need to be backhanded. then again... when I was pregnant I thought just about everyone needed to be backhanded (i was a sweetheart!) You are foxy sister. You shower, leave the couch, cook... which is a heck of lot more then i did!

Oh, I very distinctly remember a gentleman in the church parking lot that I had lots of lovely lady lumps...namely your husband (not to worry I heard alot worse).

Hang in there. Just remember its not permanent.

So I guess this means you aren't going to be dancing at the Christmas Spectacular ;)

If men only new how much we hate this! I bet you are as beautiful as ever. Hang in there and can't wait to see the new one.

Isn't that so sweet! Why is that everyone feels the need to comment on you when you are pregnant? And it's usually not nice? I can remember those sleepless, arms falling asleep, reflux nights like they were yesterday:) And most pregnancy clothes make you look like you have a tent on...not flattering! But you are right, when that precious baby arrives, we forget all about it and it makes it all worth it. We hope we get to see you over the holidays, although I know it's not fun to travel at this stage. We can't wait to meet this littl guy:)
