Happy Birthday Kanton!!

Our BIG boy Kanton turned 4 today! By big I mean, BIG....he is taller at 4 than Brig was at 5. He will tower over all of the kids in kindergarten when he is finally old enough to start, I'm afraid.

Well the big day finally came after days...well, more like weeks of talking about it. Every morning Kanton would say "okay mom lets go have my party now" and he would get a cake mix out of the pantry and want me to make it. He went back and forth on whether he wanted a fishing cake or a cowboy cake but the fishing cake won out. It seems like our kids get more excited about what kind of cake they are going to have more than anything else on their birthday! Kanton was adamant about decorating his own cake....so I let him go for it!

First thing in the morning he opened his presents

Oh boy! He got the black cowboy hat he had been begging for!
He was beyond excited! He wore it all day.

I tried getting a good picture of all three of them together but they all had
other plans...so this is the best we got

or breaking a pinata?

Kanton had a great birthday and had lots of fun with his cousins!
We sure love you Kanton and are so glad you are a part of our family!
