Got cowboys?

In case you didn't know, my nephew Griffin is a cowboy....(see picture below)

His birthday was on April 15 and he wanted to ride a horse....because he is a cowboy, you know. He got these cowboy chaps and a cowboy vest for his birthday...because he is a cowboy, you know.

Uncle Ray heard Griffin wanted to ride a horse for his birthday so he saddled up the horses and took the boys out to the round pen for a ride.

Here is cowboy Griffin all mounted up on his horse right next to his cousin cowboy Kanton. He makes friends with cowboys...because he is a cowboy too, you know.

They look like pros don't ya think??

Mariah rode...probably the longest. She didn't want to get off!
She must be a cowgirl.

and rode with dad.

It was such a nice day they all had a good time playing in the dirt and rocks.

Cute little Mariah

Stockton with a red face from being hot

But that wasn't it...NOPE! Griffin wanted to rope a calf too...and do you know why? Because he is a cowboy (you know) and that's what cowboys do.

So all of the other cowboys gave it a try too.

Cowboy Kanton

Cowboy Kellen

Cowboy Brig

and cowboy Bryson
We have lots of calves to rope and horses to ride around here so it is a good thing we also have lots of cowboys to do it all.....you know!

Wow that was a great post sister. I didn't know they were all cowboys! Wow...they sort of look like a bunch of greenhorn chinamen dudes as granddaddy used to call his grandkids. No that isn't true - they are all very tough looking cowhands that you wouldn't want to mess with.
